A program to facilitate international exchange by offering one-on-one Japanese study between foreign residents and volunteers.
Hours:
Fill out your availability within the HIC’s business hours. A volunteer will be assigned to you who matches your schedule, so you can have sessions at your convenience.

Japanese/Level:
Must have some degree of conversational Japanese ability. (To complete beginners, we recommend taking Japanese classes)

Volunteers who applied via the HIC (not licensed Japanese language teachers)

Conditions:
Once you begin the one-on-one pair study, you must become an HIC member. To become a member, please ask the HIC staff.
Hiroshima International Center Membership:
Annual fee: 2000 yen (Foreign exchange students, 1000 yen) We will verify your student ID. Period: 1 year beginning the day of payment.
